CTS offers technical support to all its staff and faculty.  If you cannot find what you are looking for on this page and need further assistance, reach out to our IT Support Services Provider, DataHawg,  in one of two ways:

 

1. Email: [email protected] from your CTS-issued email address:

a) Brief subject line description of the issue.

b) A detailed description of the issue/symptoms in the body of the message.

c) Please include your contact information, including your name and the best phone number to reach you.

IMPORTANT: Due to the amount of SPAM and PHISHING emails received, only emails received from the ctschicago.edu domain are allowed; all other domains are blocked. Your support request must come from your CTS-issued email account to generate a ticket.


2. Call the helpdesk at 773-896-2444

a) This is an unmanned line to the help desk. You will be prompted to leave a voice message. Be sure to leave your name, your staff/student number (found on your ID), a good callback number, and a brief description of your issue.  The system will then automatically create a ticket for your issue.

b) Please reply directly to any emails received from the DataHawg’s ticketing system. This will automatically add notes to the ticket to ensure a better response from their engineers.


NOTE: For AV support in classrooms or the chapel, please contact the Front Desk at x. 2400. The Facility and Events Team will provide support.
